Sweater weather has finally arrived, which means cozy days in der Rathskeller, crisp walks along Lake Mendota, trying all of our house-made soups and cozy dishes, and, of course, plenty of Wisconsin Union events to help you soak it all in. Whether you’re into art, movies, or live music, there’s almost always something happening to make your autumn unforgettable.
We’ve rounded up a few upcoming favorites that’ll give you all the fall feels, no pumpkin spice
latte required. (But we do have those at Peet’s Coffee and Prairie Fire, and they’re delicious.)
Do the Time Warp at “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” (with a Live Shadow Cast Twist)

It’s not Halloween season without the Wisconsin Union Directorate Film Committee-hosted “The Rocky Horror Picture Show!” showing paired with the live shadow-cast Velvet Darkness for a night of fun, music, and (voluntary but encouraged) audience participation.
🎵 Kick Back with a Free Concert: Behind the Beat: Aaron Scholz Acoustic Duo

Grab a drink, find a cozy seat in der Rathskeller, and enjoy some live music warm, yet beside the lake.
🎨Foliage and Food Drawing
When: Starts Nov. 3
Where: Wheelhouse Studios, Memorial Union
Cost: $75 ($65 for Wisconsin Union lifetime and annual members and current UW-Madison students with active Wiscards)
This fall, practice the historical art tradition of still life drawing. Each week, there will be live imagery celebrating the season. Pre-registration required.
