“What a Union is For” Flyer

What a Union is For flyer 1904

This flyer was distributed several decades after UW-Madison President Charles Van Hise called for the construction of a union building to support the social and leisure needs of students on campus. Back in 1904, President Van Hise recognized the importance of gathering family and friends. It’s no wonder the Badger community is such a tight-knit group!
