The Union Theater in 1937

1937 Union Theater construction

The Board of Regents authorized construction of the Union Theater and new west wing facilities on May 4,1937. Here is a picture of the Union Theater back in 1937 during construction long before legendary performances from Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and more graced its stage.
