New Dining Option Brings Naan Stop Deliciousness to Downtown Madison
After trying Naan Stop Express this past Thursday, I will be returning, naan stop. I stopped into Medical Sciences between classes and ordered the chicken tikka masala entree with saffron rice and garlic naan. The warmth of the meal was perfect for the chilly fall air, a necessary addition to my day.
Located right in the center of campus, Naan Stop Express is quick, filling and delicious. There are two entree options, small and large. The small option includes one entree choice, rice and naan bread and the large adds an additional entree choice and salad.
On my next visit, I hope to try the cauliflower and potato curry, the Bombay lentils and spinach, or the butter chicken. talk about tough decisions! In addition, I am looking forward to trying the potato samosas on the side menu. Check out the full menu here to prepare for your first visit.
Whether you’re able to sit down or need a quick bite, Naan Stop Express has options. I sat in the seating area right outside the cafe and worked quietly alongside other vistors. I loved the bright windows, quiet environment and spacious work tables, but if you’re unable to stay, that’s okay, too.
Naan Stop Express is there for a quick grab-and-go meal. The team serves pre-packaged saag paneer, chicken vindaloo with lemon rice, and coconut lemon curry. In addition, the team has on-the-go naan toasties, the perfect sandwich for a quick bite. Check out other grab-and-go meals here.
Overall, Naan Stop Express is an excellent addition to the Wisconsin Union’s on-campus dining experience. And if Medical Sciences isn’t in your daily path, I promise there are other on-campus restaurants, just like Naan Stop Express, in a building close to you. Follow this link, and find out!
