Break Time: Team Build with Your Office at the Wisconsin Union

Kayaking and canoeing are two of dozens of great team building activities at the Union.

New year, but stuck in the same old work routine? Take a break from the monotony and swap out those fluorescent office lights for exciting team building activities the whole office will enjoy at the Wisconsin Union.

A corporate membership at the Wisconsin Union grants employees access to dozens of team building opportunities from private art classes to camping trips. Wheelhouse Studios in Memorial Union provides classes, such as a canvas mural project, that are perfect for business groups. Email wheelhouse@union.wisc.edu or call (608) 262-3156 to book an event.

Feeling adventurous? Experience the Sett’s two-story climbing wall located in Union South. The only climbing wall in downtown Madison, the site has four auto-belay stations, four top rope stations, and is perfect for beginner or advanced climbers. The Sett is also home to an eight lane bowling alley, which can be rented out for private group reservations. Learn more about the Sett group reservation options here.

The warm days of summer may seem far away, but the start of the new year means it’s the perfect budget planning season for events like these important team building outings. With a corporate membership, employees can spend a weekend camping in the great outdoors with Outdoor UW, skiing, sailing or snowboarding and more with the Wisconsin Hoofers—all while developing crucial professional relationships with coworkers.

To learn more about the extensive benefits of becoming a corporate member of the Wisconsin Union, call or email Donor Relations Director Jan Viney at (608) 262-5079 or jcviney@wisc.edu.
