Too Cold to Terrace?

Union members enjoy the annual membership event Hearts and Drafts.

We’re still a couple months shy of Terrace season, but there are still plenty of opportunities to put your Wisconsin Union membership to good use. From discounts on Van Galder bus tickets to Chicago (Think of what you’ll save in parking fees!) to free room rentals for personal events, your membership gives you great deals, all year round.

This month, we’re excited to host an exclusive backstage event at the Wisconsin Union Theater’s production of the opera “La Bohème”, featuring wine, appetizers and a pre-show talk with Director of University Opera David Ronis. This event sold out super quickly, but it’s a great example of the special access your membership provides. Another theater-related event coming up is a members-only special ticket discount. Join us March 10 for We Banjo 3, a “Celtgrass” music quartet from Galway, Ireland. Keep an eye out for an email next week giving members a special access code to save big.

Feeling creative? In addition to great theater events, the Wisconsin Union is home to what we’re pretty sure are the best-priced wine and paint nights in Madison. The evening of March 9 is a night for members and guests to channel their inner Monet or Van Gogh. We’ll provide the wine and snacks while you create your own Impressionist Terrace chair painting.

Learn more about all our upcoming events and all the great things your membership grants you, including discounts on our newly renovated (soon to open) Memorial Union hotel rooms here.
