Women line the Wisconsin Union Theater in the spring of the early 1960’s for the UW Extension program “College Week for Women.” Typically a 3-day seminar, College Week for Women started in 1964 and featured classes and lectures on public speaking, women’s rights, career advice and more. Its mission was to offer a college-like experience to women from all over Wisconsin to better themselves and the state as a whole. College Week for Women has evolved into what is now College Days and is held in early June.
