An Evening of Wisconsin Crafts
The member-exclusive Wisconsin Crafts Night will feature various arts and craft stations paired with beverages and snacks.
Making arts and crafts while sipping Wisconsin craft beers–sounds like a great pairing, right? If you are a Wisconsin Union member, you have the opportunity to register for fun member-only theme events like the upcoming Wisconsin Crafts Night.
The event will be held Thursday, Sept. 29, from 7 to 9 p.m. in Wheelhouse Studios in Memorial Union. Members will be able to unleash their creative spirit by choosing from a variety of craft stations, which include screen printing a Union-themed poster to look like a beer label, painting the Madison skyline and trying their hand at wheel pottery. Attendees will be free to spend as much time as they want at each station.
Each member is invited to attend and may bring one guest, with tickets costing $20 per person. The event package includes craft supplies, snacks provided by the Union catering team, drink tickets for soda or beer and tickets for raffle prize.
A selection of Wisconsin craft beers from Capital Brewery will be available, including a limited edition 30th anniversary beer. UW-Madison students are members and invited to register, but must be 21 years of age to purchase beer.
