The Best Place to Work is Hiring!

If you are looking for a job in a fun environment, then look no further than your campus living room! The Wisconsin Union provides a variety of job opportunities for University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison) students.

We offer open part-time positions and internships in everything from catering to human resources. So, whether you want to be a rock climbing instructor or an event manager, your most awesome job ever is waiting for you at the best place to work. No matter which job you choose, your experiences will be hands-on, and the skills you will gain will be real and marketable.

If fun and resume-building aren’t reason enough to join our team, Union employees also enjoy incredibly flexible hours (You can work as few as five hours per week.), great wages, friendly co-workers and convenient locations across campus.

“My favorite part about working at the Union is the co-workers, as they’re all equal-minded college students who get along really well,” said Nicholas Miller, a UW-Madison sophomore and Brat Stand team member. “And the setting on the water is a plus. Managers are also very understanding with my class times.”

Here at the Union, we believe hard work and dedication deserve to be recognized; our Employee-of-the-Month award program is one way we let our incredible student employees know how truly appreciated they are. Award recipients receive a stipend and a certificate.

But, wait, there’s more. We encourage student employees to join the Union’s Student Employee Advisory Group (SEAG). SEAG is made up student employees across all areas of the Union. The group is dedicated to opening, fostering and maintaining communication among the Union’s employees and volunteers.
